How do we book?
Simply use the contact button and send me a message. Please include your name and a contact number.
I try to reply to messages as quickly as I possible and normally reply within a day. If you have not had a reply within 48 hours, please check your spam box.
We can have a chat and once you are completely happy I will send you a booking form to fill in and return. Once your deposit has been received your date is firm in my calendar.
Do we have to meet before we book you?
No we don't. If you'd just like to get your wedding date secured that's fine. We can arrange a date to meet before you're Big Day.
How much is the deposit & when is the balance due?
The deposit to secure your wedding date is £300. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding.
When & where will we meet?
Preferably within 2 months of your wedding. I have a dedicated office where we can meet and I am flexible with times. My office is a few miles from the historic town of Battle. I am also happy to travel 1 hour from my office to meet providing we can agree a time and date.
Do you only cover local weddings?
No, I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK. Travel up to 1 hour from my office is included.
How far in advance do we need to book you?
I have some weddings booked 2 years in advance. I always say, if you know you want me book as soon as possible.
Are you insured?
You bet I am! I am covered for 5 million pounds.
What would happen if you were ill on our wedding day?
I would need to be struck by lightning to miss your wedding!
Having said that, I belong to a great network of professional photographers so I have the resources to fall back on should this ever happen.
If for any reason the stand-in photographer was not suitable I would be happy to refund your money in full.
Do you backup our photos?
Yes, photos get backed up to hard drive and online storage.
How long will it be before we get our photos?
I normally send a few within 2 days of your wedding and the reminder take around 5 weeks, though this may change during busy periods.
How many Photographs will we receive?
For an all day wedding you will receive between 350 & 500 professionally edited photos.
What should we do with our downloaded photos?
It's important you save your photos to your computer and also save them to the cloud for safe keeping.
What camera's do you use?
I use the very latest professional Nikon cameras. All my Nikon equipment is serviced annually by Nikon UK to ensure it works trouble free. Don't worry, should anything go wrong with my equipment on the day I keep backups with me.
We don't want too many posed photos, is that ok?
Yes that's more than ok! Most of my day is taken up capturing those special moments that happen in a split second. These make for some of the most precious memories. There will also be times for the more formal photographs as in the group photos and photos of the newlyweds.
If you are someone that doesn't feel overly comfortable in front of the camera, don't fear. I never ask couples to do strange or uncomfortable posses as this would only make things worse. I promise it'll be super relaxed!
What do you mean when you say our photos are edited?
I always try to capture the perfect moment. Unfortunately most wedding venues these days have soo many distractions in the background like Fire exit signs, CCTV camera's or fire extinguishers and this can really spoil what should be a perfect photo.
With this in mind all your photos are individually checked and edited to ensure minimal distractions. The easiest way is to show you an example. The photos below show the original and the edited.
Do you need us to supply food on the day?
I don't need you to but if you do it is always gratefully received. It is good to know before your wedding if I should bring food for myself.
I won't be taking lots of photos during the meal as no one wants the moment they stuffed half a chicken supreme in their mouth caught on camera so that's when I normally stop for a break.
Can we see some full wedding albums? Are all the images yours? How recent are they?
Yes of course you can.
Yes every single image is one of mine.
All my images in print and website are continuously being updated so everything you see is a recent and true representation of my work.
Can we speak to some former clients or read testimonials?
Yes you sure can! All my reviews are by genuine people. Just ask and I will put you in touch with them!

Do we need a 2nd photographer?
For days with over 100 guests and multiple locations, I would suggest booking a second photographer. The second photographers I use are professional and work to their pricing so if you’d like one please reach out to me for a bespoke quote.
